I use this WebQuest to introduce blogging to my students. I also use this WebQuest with teachers new to blogging so they can begin to think about using blogging to develop literacies in the classroom. It gives them a chance to view various components of blogging.
Take a look at Teacher Process for Introducing Blogging with a WebQuest. It is one method to introduce blogging to students. I used it with elementary students but you could adapt it or use parts of it for all ages. Feel free to use it in any way you find useful to introduce blogging to students/teachers. I have found it very helpful to give those new to blogging a good understanding of the process. Be sure to browse through the different sections of the WebQuest - Introduction, Task, Process, Evaluation, Conclusion, Credits, and Teacher section.
